Computer programs which handle the propagation of shock waves and compute velocities, strains, stresses, and so on, as a function of time and position are called "hydrodynamic computer codes" or "hydrocodes" (Anderson, 1987). In order to investigate impacts and impact related events on small bodies I use iSALE hydrocode. I worked on probing asteroid Lutetia's interior from its largest crater Massilia.
